While a graduate student at UC Davis, I was privileged to work on a large research project on CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in California's Central Valley. Dahlias

It's gotten to the point in the season when we have too many flowers. I mean (comically), I suppose you can never have too many flowers, unless you live in a small space and grow 1/3 of an acre of dahlias with little time to market.
